Italian Courses
Ital 1020 – Elementary Italian
The beginning of my Italian journey at Clemson University. My instructor taught basic grammar, oral, and reading comprehension skills needed for the beginning of learning the language. Along with daily homework, and collaborative classroom activities, I was also taught Italian culture with various different resources.
Ital 2020 – Intermediate Italian
An intermediate level Italian course, dove into more complex readings and analysis of Italian literature. This course had a higher standard for when demonstrating grammar and vocabulary. Classroom discussions involved all students and topics included recent history of politics, downfalls, and life in Italy.
Ital 4980 – Italian music
A course dedicated to the world of Italian music. Topics included history, genres, and iconic artists. This class taught about the insight of Italian culture during the various era's of music and going into further detail with the breakdown of different genres plus the most iconic artists of the time.
Ital 3980 – Italian Film
A course dedicated to the culture of Italian cinema. In this class, students watched Italian movies weekly that varied by the time period, and genre. During class, students would analyze each movie and dive further into the meanings in these said movies. This class gave students insight on the Italian film industry throughout time.
Ital 4550 - Italian Business
A course associated with the business aspect of Italy. The class was based around selected topics within business culture in Italy. The course explained Italian global trends, and popular sectors within the markets of Italy.
